A Network Engineer builds and maintains the infrastructure that allows computers and devices to communicate with each other. They configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security measures. Network engineers need certifications like CCNA or CCNP and knowledge of protocols and network architectures. As organizations become more connected and cloud-based, network engineers play a crucial role in ensuring reliable and secure communication.
